DOUBLE FOR WAKEFIELD TEENAGE HERO DALE

TEENAGE hero Dale Morton scored twice as Wakefield saw off battling Catalans to claim their second win of the new season.


The 19-year-old Academy graduate latched on to two Danny Brough passes as the Wildcats recovered from 16-10 down in the second half. 


Glenn Morrison also touched down in the Wakefield recovery, adding to earlier tries from Dale Ferguson and Luke George. 


Ferguson went over on four minutes as Wakefield started strongly but Catalans twice led after tries from Dimitri Pelo, Olivier Elima and Sebastian Martins. Yet ultimately Chris Walker’s late effort was just a consolation for the Dragons.
